Homework Center is a safe and quiet place for students to complete homework after school. Students who do not complete homework for that day will be issued a MANDATORY "Homework Center" requirement, which means that they are expected to complete their unfinished work THAT SAME DAY after school in Room 112. By attending Homework Center, students can earn up to full credit on their homework assignment. Students who skip a mandatory Homework Center will be issued 2 demerits and will earn 0% on that particular assignment. We will also call home to inform you of your child's missed Homework Center requirement.
Any student who accumulates more than 20 days of absences, EXCUSED OR UNEXCUSED, must take a summer school class in order to be promoted. Failure to take the summer school class results in your child not moving on to the next grade level or not graduating and receiving their high school diploma.
