Class of 2014's Half-Cap Ceremony

Wednesday, June 6 at 6:00 p.m. in the Great Hall at Power House High

Eligibility requirements:

20 Service Learning hours earned by Monday, April 9, 2012 (no exceptions; hours collected after April 9th will not count towards Half-Cap but will count towards graduation)

9.25 credits or more earned by May 11, 2012

No F's earned in the 3rd or 4th Quarter

Invitations will be extended in early May to students that meet the requirements.  Attendance to the ceremony will be open to families of Half-Cap qualifiers.  The dress is 'Sunday Best'.

To make sure your child gets the best education possible, Power House High is partnering with Noble Network of Charter Schools.

Most importantly, Power House High is not closing. All Power House High students will have the opportunity to graduate from Power House High.

Deadline: Friday, April 27 for Senior Luncheon tickets at $25/person, limit 3 people.  Senior Luncheon will be hosted at Quartino Restaurant, 626 N. State Street, Chicago.

Seniors were to submit pictures of themselves taken from ages 2-7 to Ms. Kerr.  If you haven't already, please do so ASAP!

Senior Activity Guidelines for the Class of 2012 were given to seniors and mailed home in February.  The bottom portion should be signed by parents and seniors acknowledging that all understand and will adhere to the guidelines and expectations set forth for Senior Prom and Senior Luncheon.  Please return the signed portion to Ms. Kerr.  The due date was March 9.

LGBTQ Citywide Prom

Friday, May 18 at 6:00 p.m. at Power House High

Join LGBTQ teens and their allies at our citywide LGBTQ Prom: "Candyland" hosted by Power House High! Please contact Ms. Noa at either (773) 533-7600 or npadowitz@powerhousehigh.org for more information.  Dinner will be served.

Prom is open to teens in grades 9-12.  Valid high school ID is required for entry.  Doors will be open from 6:00-7:30 p.m.; no one will be allowed entry after 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased on or by Wednesday, May 16 at Power House High or online here.  Tickets cannot be purchased at the door.
